For over 17 years I have been working in the field of business development, marketing, marcom and IT. Due to my versatile nature my field of experience is broad; I have worked in a wide range of sectors – both profit and non-profit – and with as many different people and professions.
In past projects I have clearly seen that (and why) projects and products often fail in functionality, time ánd budget. That’s why I switched to working agile and started using scrum, in my opinion the best available framework for successful product development.
I am a certified scrum master and agile coach. A pragmatic scrum adept. My agile scope exceeds IT scrum and focusses also on (digital) marketing and new business development. I find that my experience with what does nót work is a great benefit in being a scrum master.
Besides my freelance assignments as scrum master and agile coach, I participate in NIPON. We train (scrum)teams in the Agile Mindset. Our approach combines the Agile Manifesto with ‘experimental learning’. Based on the customers impediments we look for the best possible way to use agile and its frameworks. Together with the team we create a real 'culture of experimentation'. When asked, we guide the organisation in their first steps on the agile path by training and coaching the team(s).
In my free time I love to trim sails, fight in the kick box ring, hit the bike pedals, take my son on a trip or drink a glass of wine with my friends.
